My Super Awesome December 31st Outing! 🚗🍦🎮
Hi everyone!!! 😁 So guess what? On the last day of the year—yup, December 31st—my big sister Achi said we were going out! And not just anywhere… SHOPRITE!!! I’ve been wanting to go for AGES! I was soooo happy I did a happy dance in the living room. This is the story of one of the coolest days ever!
The Early Morning News
I was still sleeping and dreaming about ice cream (lol 🍦) when I heard Achi say, “Everyone, we are going out today!” I literally jumped up and shouted, “Yesssssss!!!” I ran around the house like Sonic because I was so excited! 😆
“Are we going to ride the VR machines?” I asked her with my biggest puppy eyes 🥺.
She nodded with a smile and I exploded into my best Fortnite dance 💃. I told my other siblings to hurry up and brush so we could go fast-fast. I even wore my favorite shirt that has a robot on it!
Getting There
In the car, I sat by the window (because I always call window seat first 😎) and we played music and sang along. The sun was shining, and it felt like a perfect day. I kept looking outside wondering, “What if Shoprite is closed??” But don’t worry—it was open and shining like a palace!
As soon as we got inside, I could smell popcorn and chicken. There were so many people, and everything looked shiny and cool. Then I saw it — the VR section! It was calling my name 🧑🏽🚀
The VR ride was CRAZY fun! I put on the headset and suddenly I was flying through space. I had to fix a spaceship and dodge meteors! At one point I screamed and almost fell but Achi caught me 😅. It felt soooooo real!
Snack Time!!! 🍔🍟
After all that action, we got food! I had jollof rice, chicken, and my favorite—ice cream! I mixed vanilla and strawberry (don’t judge me 😋). We sat near the fountain and ate while people walked by with balloons and Christmas hats.
Then we went into the game store and I saw this awesome LEGO set with dragons! I didn’t get it though, but I took a picture for my birthday wishlist 😅📸. We laughed a lot and even took a goofy family selfie.
Later That Night
When we got home, we had a mini party! 🎉 We played games like charades, drank juice, and waited for midnight. At 12:00 sharp, BOOM! Fireworks started! I ran outside and screamed like “HAPPY NEW YEARRRRR!” The sky was full of colors and it felt like magic. ✨
Best. Day. Ever.
It was the most fun day of the year. VR rides, yummy food, family party, fireworks… ALL IN ONE DAY!! I told Achi she’s the best sister ever and I meant it 💯. I hope next year is even better!
